So, you're probably wondering... What are caterpillar dreams? Well, in the world of grief and bereavement (the focus of my current studies), we will often use the transition of a caterpillar into the butterfly as a comparision to life here on earth and the afterlife. Butterflies are often used to symbolize grief and bereavement and air a suggestion that life after death is one that is more freeing that that here on earth. So, if the butterfly is a symbol of life after death, then the caterpillar is representation of our earthly wanderings. We chew away as life passes us by. But why not do more than chew, why not dream? We will never know of what is yet to come but we can anticipate it with a cheerul heart and a happy soul. Have you ever met an unhappy caterpillar? I think not!
Another reason for the title... It's peculiar, like many of my stories. And really... what would a caterpillar dream about? If you were a caterpillar what would you dream about? Hmmm, thought provoking isn't it!
Stories of life, of influence, of random people and random thoughts.
